Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Mahakal Event Management provides professional event planning services, including but not limited to weddings, religious functions, cultural events, and corporate gatherings. As these services are customized, time-bound, and involve third-party bookings, our cancellation and refund policies differ from those applicable to physical products.

By completing a booking or payment on our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Cancellation and Refund

You may request a cancellation of your service booking within 7 days of payment and at least 15 days prior to the event date to be considered for a partial refund.

Refunds will be considered only if:

  • No third-party vendors or resources have been booked on your behalf.
  • No significant work has been executed toward your event.
  • The cancellation request falls within the allowed timeframe as mentioned above.

All event and wedding packages include a non-refundable booking advance of 30%, which is used for date reservation, administrative work, and initial planning.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event.
  • Services that are already rendered in part or full.
  • Customized packages or non-standard services.
  • Vendor or material purchases already made for your event.
  • No-shows or same-day cancellations.
  • Promotional or discounted packages.

Rescheduling Policy

Clients are allowed to reschedule an event once at no additional cost, provided the request is made at least 10 days in advance and is subject to the availability of dates and vendors.

Subsequent rescheduling requests may be subject to additional charges or may not be accommodated depending on resource availability.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Physical Products (If Applicable)

If, in the future, Mahakal Event Management offers any physical products (such as merchandise, décor items, or printed materials), the following terms will apply:

  • Return requests must be made within 30 days of purchase.
  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Refunds for physical products are subject to inspection and approval.

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable content or services
  • Personalized or custom-made items
  • Used or damaged items not due to our error
